DAKAR 2012
All the best to the
British entrants in Dakar 2012. Look out for Toby and Jago and in
particular Stan Watts who will be threatening the top 20. Desert Rose
Racing will be there supporting the riders. Alistair Macrae also there
from Scotland on 4 wheels.
NEWS FROM TUAREG
RALLYE 2011
Four of us headed
for the Tuareg at the end of March. Mike Robertson, Mike Shepherd,
Duncan Tweedy and myself. All supported by Patsy Quick's Team Desert
Rose. Great fun event and it was nice to get the old KTM out for a
final run through the dunes.
One point to learn
though - you can't finish a Dakar then do almost nothing for 14 months
and expect to be bike fit or otherwise fit for any desert rally.....
back to the training...
